1)  Suria KLCC

Suria KLCC is one of the best shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur and it’s located directly under the Petronas Twin Towers. KLCC is a luxury shopping centre, with many trendy and exclusive stores with mainly internationally renowned brands spread over 6 floors. Pavilion KL is one of the most popular malls in Kuala Lumpur. It is centrally located in Bukit Bintang and has more than 450 stores. In addition to the many shops, you also have several luxury eateries, bars, and coffee shops, a cinema and a whole floor where wellness is central.

Fahrenheit 88 is a hip shopping mall along Jalan Bukit Bintang. It is located on the opposite of Pavilion KL and next to Starhill Gallery. The mall is very popular among locals because you will find the first location of the very popular Japanese brand Uniqlo in this mall, spread over two floors. Uniqlo is a bit similar to H&M and in addition there are also hundreds of other great shops. At the bottom of the mall, you will find a food floor with various eateries and restaurants and some nice restaurants.

4)  Berjaya Times Square

Berjaya Times Square has more than 1000 stores, ranging from small shops to megastores. The complex contains 65 restaurants, and almost every country is represented in terms of food. There are two food courts in Berjaya Times Square; one on the 10th floor and one on the basement floor. A very unique feature of this mall is the indoor amusement park Berjaya Square Theme Park. This is not a theme park with just some children’s attractions, but there is a real indoor roller coaster; the 800-meter long ‘Supersonic Odyssey’. In addition to all this, there is an IMAX, cinema and bowling alley.

5)  Mid Valley Megamall

Mid Valley Megamall is an enormous shopping mall for the upper-middle class that lies just outside the center of Kuala Lumpur. During the week it is fairly quiet during the day, but during the weekend you can enjoy a crowded but great atmosphere. The mall has around 430 stores with a large assortment of well-known clothing brands. There are two food courts, including the popular Oasis Food Court. You will find a lot of locals in this mall which is nice to experience as a traveller.
