First Time in KL : Starting A New Life In The City Of

Kuala Lumpur

Wondering what the future has in store for me
Starting over after the outbreak this year is extremely difficult. The same can be said to an Ipoh boy who has to migrate to the country’s capital city, the bustling Kuala Lumpur in search of new opportunities. Leaving behind the quite and peaceful hometown to the more hectic yet full of life that is KL.

The best thing is that I am now completely overwhelmed by the sheer size of this place and don’t know much about it (country boy here).

So, I thought I better find the famous landmarks here that I’ve read about to navigate my way around. My first-to-go was the Petronas Twin Tower and my god was it HUGE.

A Colossal Architecture

After the shock I was understandably hungry so I tried to find something to eat. Luckily, I found a great place to fill my stomach.

NZ CURRY HOUSE KLCC

It is a ‘mamak’ restaurant that serve popular Malaysian food such as roti canai, mee goreng, and a lot more for a very affordable price. It was located at the opposite of Suria KLCC Mall Entrance.

I got myself a plate of roti telur with just Rm2.40 and it was scrumptious.

Now that I had my belly filled, I thought to myself : “Where should I stay for now?”

Fortunately, I found a beautiful place thanks to Kl Short Stay

A short-stay apartment complete with all kinds of amenities such as gym, pool, free WiFi and much more. It was only one LRT station away from KLCC (KLCC – AMPANG PARK) and if you prefer to walk (like I did) it is only 10 minutes away.

Now that I am comfortable, I can safely resume my journey later in Kuala Lumpur and discover what it has to offer. Who knows what might happen. (Spoiler: I might be getting lost a lot)
